Friendly Watch
Brazil continued its World Cup warm-up by crusing to a 5-1 victory over Tanzania. With Nani the latest star to be ruled out of the tournament, there was good news for Dunga as Kaka came through the entire game unscathed. He even managed to nudge one in with his chest.
Couple more goals for Robinho - he looks to be focused and running into form at just the right time. The Benfica midfielder, Ramires, grabbed his first goal for Brazil with the best of the match, slaloming into the box before rifling a left footed shot into the corner. The substitute also grabbed the last goal with a controlled header in the final minute.
Dunga's happy. Time to apply the polish now. Worked wonders on Kaka's injury apparently. If Dunga's still got some left he might be able to use it on the World Cup trophy in a month or so:
'We played two good games against two teams that play at a fast pace. We are on the right track.'
'Now we must polish the work we have done in recent weeks to be ready for our World Cup opener.'
How they lined up: Gomes, Maicon, Lucio, Juan, Bastos, Elano, Gilberto Silva, Melo, Kaka, Robinho, Fabiano
Subs used: Gilberto, Luisao, Josue, Ramires, Daniel Alves, Nilmar
